Like other extracurricular and fine arts activities, participating in choir requires additional expenses. An escrow account can be created to help families offset some of these expenses. They were set up by the boosters to assist families who want to earn extra money while participating in fundraising by selling Business Ads for the program.
What fundraising activities will contribute to my account?
If you have an escrow account and you are contributing to it,, the booster treasurer will send out total amounts for your account upon request.
What happens to the remaining amount if my son or daughter graduates?
Escrow accounts continue to increase for as long as the student is enrolled in the choral program. Any funds remaining in escrow upon a students’ graduation from high school or severance from the choral program may be rolled over to a younger family member entering the choral program in a consecutive year or will be allocated to the boosters financial assistance fund for future choir students who are in need of financial assistance. For more information on your escrow balance, please contact treasurer@gpsouthchoir.org.
